We discovered polyvore the other day and started to create some hard graft lookbooks.
If you are not familiar with polyvore this is how it works: You clip you favorite clothes, furniture etc. from online shops and create your own lookbook. So, all you see in this image you can actually buy online in various places. Just click through and start shopping.
Let us know what you think!

hard graft is a great design company in Austria, from whom I purchased my laptop sleeve and covet several other items, particularly the 2unfold bag. They just introduced me to polyvore, which is a great idea and one of the coolest implementations I’ve seen on the web in a while.

Rose Byrne is amazing. She’s one of the few celebrities I’ve seen who is more beautiful in real life. Doesn’t hurt that she’s also incredibly talented. For irrefutable proof, watch The Goddess of 1967.
“Listen to the Magic Man” (1985)
Celine Dion’s first English-language video, from the soundtrack of The Peanut Butter Solution (see last posting). Amazing, hilarious and somewhat painful, everything good nostalgia should be made up of.
The Peanut Butter Solution. In its entirety. No Canadian child of the late 70s or early 80s should have gone without seeing this amazing, somewhat creepy, TV movie. Features the first-ever English language tracks by Celine Dion on the soundtrack (posting the video next).
I will be curating an ongoing Movie Night at the Manifesto Studio, Tuesday nights starting March 24th, for those in Toronto. A weekly thematically-linked double feature. More details to follow. I just realised how ridiculous it is that I’m promoting this after posting The Peanut Butter Solution.
From the movie starring Jean Seberg.
This is playing at Cinematheque on December 7th at 1pm. I think I might check it out, thought you’d be interested (if you didn’t already know).
